| 4-channel sound installation 'Elevator Music' is staged in an elevator of an old
warehouse building occupied by Chinese sweatshops, showrooms, imitation designer
product patrons and two galleries. As the elevator travels through the shaft, sounds
appropriated from various subway buskers drifts in and out of earshot. The juxtaposition
of the buskers' soundtrack composes an orchestration of Muzak for the everyday
passengers of the building elevator.
